Honkai: Star Rail 1st Anniversary Information & 2.1 Update with Arlan's Pickup!

The Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 update is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, the 27th.

And soon, we'll be celebrating our 1st anniversary with many events in store,

Let's get right to it!

First up, we have the first pickup character for the 2.1 update, Arlan.

I've been playing Honkai since the day it launched, and this new character Arlan is absolutely insane.

First off, Arlan is a Lightning and Imaginary character (I was sure they'd be Quantum... my dreams of a Quantum team...).

Arlan is an ultimate-focused DPS, and the number of "actions that inflict debuffs on the party" determines

how long it takes for Arlan to use their ultimate again. You need to use it again within 3 turns to maximize their strength.

You might be thinking, "Debuff application? Won't that make the stack buildup too slow and weak?" But

apparently, stacks also increase when enemies are hit by Weakness Breaks or when enemies apply debuffs to other enemies.

The ultimate ignores weaknesses and hits four times, with the first three hits allowing you to choose which enemy to target.

The final hit deals AoE damage. The transformation and visuals are just... I'm going to have to open my wallet.

Their talent is also crazy. When encountering regular enemies, you can instantly kill them on the field without even entering battle.

It's also usable in Simulated Universes :) ... How am I supposed to resist this?

As a universal DPS, I think their signature light cone will be essential (it inflicts a guaranteed debuff on attack),

And they say that reaching 2nd Ascension is extremely important for this character, so revenue is going to skyrocket.

But don't worry! With the 1st-anniversary events, you can get 20 Stellar Jades and a variety of other content just by logging in.

It seems like they're giving out a lot of Star Rail Passes. They're giving 1,600 Star Rail Passes on April 26th, so you can get at least 30 pulls!

There are a lot of events for the 1st anniversary, so I'll briefly explain them with images instead.

From the Star Rail mini-game to the update for the 9th World, and even a 3x increase in rewards for Ornaments and Relics...
